A Message from Tiffany

Thank you for exploring the opportunity to connect and work together towards meeting your needs and goals. It can be difficult to take a risk and start the process of building trust and relationship with a counselor. Because of that, I believe it is a counselor’s responsibility to present interventions in a way that are sensitive to an individual’s values, be collaborative, encourage internal motivation, and empower and build on strengths throughout the counseling process. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of behavioral health needs including anxiety, abuse and trauma work, grief and loss, depression, behavior needs, and positive parenting and parent-child relationship. I attempt to incorporate the family system as much as possible during the therapeutic process through education, planning, and intervention. I employ an Existential theory with responsive based treatment models and have formal training in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Plus, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Common Elements Treatment Approach, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I participate in ongoing related training and consultation for continued professional growth.
