About Sienna

Sienna is a graduate student working towards a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Whitworth University. She receives weekly supervision by her university professors and directly supervised by Site Supervisor and Therapist II, Keneesha Lloyd MS, LMHC. Sienna is practicing under the license of Ms. Lloyd who is licensed in Washington as a Mental Health counselor.

Sienna uses an Emotion-Focused and acceptance-based approach to working with clients. Her clients can expect a warm and non-judgmental environment where they can truly be seen for every part of themselves. Her goal is to create a space where clients can share the most beautiful and less desirable parts of themselves knowing all is welcome in her therapy room. She does not believe people choose suffering or evil, but everyone is just doing the best they can to serve and protect who they are right now. Sometimes these efforts fall short and need to be re-evaluated.

A Message from Sienna

Life's challenges can feel relentless in their presence throughout the day, even despite the best efforts of getting rid of those feelings. Therapy is a place where we may not be able to get rid of every unpleasant feeling and find the "right answer”; however, it can be a space where we invite emotions into the room to get to know them. Together we can bring the past into the light in order to better understand how it impacts your daily living.

I am passionate about working with teenagers, adults, couples, and families experiencing LGBTQ+ issues and religious deconstruction. I support health at every size and function from an acceptance-commitment and emotion-focused therapeutic approach. This means we will create a space where we can hold all the good, bad, and ugly parts of life without fear of judgement. I value being a warm presence to create an authentic relationship; together we can explore the emotional roots that run through the day. My goal is to help you find peace and congruency between your values and daily living.
