Our Position
We are looking for a therapist who has a passion and drive for learning evidence-based practices (i.e., EMDR, ACT, EFT, IFS, SUDP etc.) and pursuing certifications in these areas. Our ideal candidate would be someone who both enjoys providing services via telehealth and has experience in this area.

Essential Duties
- Offer individual, couples or family therapy sessions in-office or via telehealth
- Communicate client population and presenting problem preferences or scheduling needs to Client Support Specialists
- 1 paid administrative hour for every 5 client hours
- There is no mandatory minimum or maximum hour requirement per week for this position however continuity of client care is important.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine medical necessity and develop corresponding measurable treatment goals.
- Ensure accuracy of billing code, time of service, duration of service and location
- Lead or co-lead psychotherapy or skills groups
- Coordinate care with outside providers (e.g., PCP, other therapists, schools)
- Conduct risk assessments and safety plans with clients
- Attend weekly clinical staff meeting via zoom
- Complete clinical documentation within 48 hours of therapy provided
- Receive supervision or consultation at a frequency commensurate with therapist experience and rank
- Work towards certifications in evidence-based practices
- Travel for quarterly all-staff meeting to our Spokane-based office
- If eligible, option to supervise graduate interns or Associate therapists
Location
This is a remote position with travel to the Spokane office quarterly for our all staff meeting. Employees must have access to a private and well-lit home office with high speed internet. The employee will be provided with a computer and peripheral equipment.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Masters or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or a related field
- Licensed in one of the above fields in the state of Washington. We will seriously consider Associates who embody our mission and vision AND are within 6-8 months of full licensure.
- Grounded in a guiding theoretical orientation
Preferred Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Additional training and/or certification in evidence-based practice or intent to pursue additional training in a specific areas
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Complete a background check.
- Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with clients, staff and support agencies.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally dysregulated people within the Center.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Hold an unencumbered license
Please note our practice has a conflict of interest policy that prohibits therapists from engaging in a private practice or similar practice with the same population and payers, at the same time as their role with CFS.
Compensation:
Base rate per licensure level.
- Associate Masters Level: $55 per clinical hour
- Licensed Masters level: $65 per clinical hour
- Psychologist level: $85 per clinical hour
