A Message from Katelynn

Hello, my name is Katelynn Harmon (she/her) and I am so glad that you are here! Life is a beautiful and complicated adventure, and sometimes we all could use someone to come alongside us for the ride. Something within you has identified that you deserve to feel safe and happy in your own skin, and I would love the opportunity to help you get there. There are many avenues to wellness, and I can help you to explore the options that work best for you. I primarily practice person-centered therapy - this means that I see YOU as the expert of your own life! I am here to help you get to where YOU want to be, and to encourage the truest version of yourself to shine through. I honor the journey that led you here and I feel it is a great privilege to get to connect with you as a fellow human being through a combination of evidence-based practices, humor, authenticity and unconditional positive regard for the wonderful person you are. You can expect a variety of options for our sessions, including talking, listening to music, creating art, engaging in mindfulness/stretching/breathing exercises, playing card games - whatever makes you most comfortable! My sessions will help you to focus on taking care of yourself in a way that encourages inner peace and core value-focused decision making. I put a high emphasis on learning to work WITH your brain and heart to create meaningful relationships, both with yourself and those that you love. I work primarily with teenage and young adult-aged clients, and I would be happy to join your team! If you identify as LGBTQIA2S+, someone struggling with depression/anxiety disorders, someone struggling with your body image and/or sexual identity, or are struggling with religious/post-religious identity, then I am your gal! I honor all gender/sexual identities, religious affiliations, cultures, sexes, sizes, and identified families/relationships.
