A Message from Ben

Sometimes it feels like no matter what we do people just don’t understand us or appreciate our efforts. Sometimes we aren't sure what’s making life so hard and need an outside perspective to help us understand. If you’re reading this you are probably interested in making a change. Change is hard and outcomes can be unpredictable but having someone you can trust offering tools, encouragement, and accountability can make daunting tasks more manageable and less scary. In session you can expect to have a few good laughs while shifting in and out of challenging topics. I see parts of therapy as a workout for your brain and you will need to “workout” outside of session to see progress, so expect homework in the form of applying what we talk about in session to your life. My focus is on creating a compassionate, validating and motivational environment to encourage openness so you can freely explore how to most effectively address the challenges in your life.
