A Message from Emily
Hi! I’m Emily and I’m excited to meet you. It can be hard to take the leap to come into counseling. Now that you are here let me tell you a bit about myself. I use a behavioral approach, which means that I believe that people are greatly affected by their environment which can lead to limited or poor coping skills. In our sessions I will help you to understand what skills you may need to heal. All while fostering a deeper understanding of yourself. The most important part of counseling is our relationship. I would love to get to know you by hearing about your hobbies, dreams, struggles, and favorite song. No struggle is too big or small; I will listen nonjudgmentally to it all. My greatest joy is helping you build a life worth living.
