A Message from Megan

Counseling can be a very intimidating and vulnerable process. However, it is also a courageous first step in being willing to invest in yourself and the life you want to be living. Counseling is a very active process: the results will match your level of effort. I understand that you are the expert on your own life, and I feel honored to be apart of your journey. I find it valuable to take time to develop our working relationship and nurture elements of trust, vulnerability, and transparency. I work to create an environment with compassion, validation, and understanding, but will gently confront when needed. I appreciate it when a person is respectful, willing to work, and open to new ideas. Hard work is important, but so is humor, and I try to incorporate a balance of these in my counseling approach. I look forward to working with you!
