A Message from Nichole

Hello! I’m glad you’re here and will share a bit about myself and my approach. I specialize in the treatment of adult survivors of childhood trauma. As a helper, I welcome and honor you as you are. I view my relationship with you, as my client, as sacred. Not in a traditionally religious way, but in a way that is deeply and powerfully respectful of what you have survived and of all the parts of you.  I have done the hard work you are looking to do. I know what it takes. You will do the work, but I will be by your side, navigating our path when it feels overwhelming or unclear. We will create clear and defined treatment goals based on what is most important to you, and my hope is that you experience what it feels like to be deeply heard and seen, and that you emerge from our work together with more compassion, clarity, and hope.

Traditional talk therapy can have a limited capacity to help resolve the pain left from complex traumatic experiences such as childhood neglect and abuse. Attachment-Focused EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Internal Family Systems are examples of therapeutic approaches I utilize that are revolutionizing the treatment of trauma and can help to change how our past is stored in our nervous system.

To my clients past and present: thank you for trusting me with your most precious truths, hurts, and hopes. To my future clients: come as you are, and rest in knowing you will be received just as you are, with an open heart and mind.
